WiFi Gateway (802.11b/g)
Enables wireless data transmission over a range of 200m using WiFi standard. The RS232 version allows the connection of serial devices to a WiFi network: PLC, Captor, Alarm, Bar Code Reader etc. The Ethernet version is a transparent gateway between a wired 10/100 BaseT Ethernet and a wireless WiFi Ethernet. It integrates a radio transceiver, a digital processing unit and a wide power supply range on the same board. It is available in an IP65 enclosure ready for approved use.

Data transfer is performed via an RS232 / RS485 serial port or USB interface and configuration is performed by AT commands. It can be used without a license and It is suitable for middle distance wireless data transmission applications.

ConnexModem is a powerful 2.4 GHz radio transceiver combined with a 56K data/fax modem. The system can be set up in minutes to enable wireless communication between local RS232 devices and any standard phone line.
Proprietary FHSS technology ensures reliable, secure transmissions even in RF-hostile environments.

The ConnexModem system comprise of a remote node (ConnexPC, which enables local wireless data transmissions) and a telecom node (ConnexModem, which bridges the local wireless link to a telecom system for longer range communication).
Each industrial-grade device utilises an industry-standard interface: the ConnexModem attached to an RJ11 phone jack while the ConnexPC connects to a DB9 RS232 serial port. Both support point-to-point configuration at baud rates up to 115.2 Kbps.
